Sensor production started in 1991 with packaging of optical semiconductor sensors for Canon SLR cameras’ auto focus mechanism, and since then, sensor types have diversified to other Canon products such as beam detection sensors used in the core mechanism of laser beam printers. Production operates in strict process control and in the highest level of clean rooms. Furthermore, as an R&D driven company, we have succeeded in developing original products such as local clean room equipment and light emitting/receiving single module sensors.
